Breeding
Aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, with a proportion of new wood (typically one-third) to structure the wine without drying it out
On the eye
Deep garnet with violet undertones, suggesting a wine of substance and maturity potential.
On the nose
The bouquet is expressive and inviting: dark berries—blackcurrant and plum—mingle with restrained oak influence, hints of vanilla and subtle charred notes that add complexity without dominating the fruit.
In the mouth
The palate is round and silken, with good flesh and supple tannins. The mid-palate reveals weight and richness, whilst the finish remains aromatic and persistent, echoing the dark fruit with subtle grilled nuances that linger pleasingly.
