Breeding
Aged in French oak barrels to enhance the wine's complexity whilst respecting its fruity expression
On the eye
Deep, intense ruby with garnet reflections, typical of Pommard Pinot Noir at maturity.
On the nose
A layered bouquet of dark cherry and plum, with secondary notes of leather, tobacco leaf and subtle oak influence. The aromatics develop with air, revealing earthy minerality beneath.
In the mouth
A firm, structured attack gives way to silken tannins and a broad mid-palate. Dark fruit flavours persist alongside earthy notes and a whisper of spice on the finish. The wine shows good length and balance.
Les Bertins represents Domaine Chantal Lescure's philosophy: the marriage of traditional Burgundian craft with organic viticulture. This is Pommard of genuine substance—a wine for the cellar and the table alike. It rewards patience and will develop further complexity over the coming decade.

DOMAINE CHANTAL LESCURE
Domaine Chantal Lescure is a wine estate in Nuits-Saint-Georges (Burgundy). Around 20 hectares farmed organically. Grapes: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Appellations: Nuits-Saint-Georges, Pommard, Volnay, Beaune, Chambolle-Musigny, Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, among others. Vinification by François Chavériat. Wines of great purity and fine precision.
