CHÂTEAU CLERC MILON
Situated in Pauillac at the heart of the Médoc, Château Clerc Milon is a 5th Classified Growth of 1855, covering 41 hectares of deep sandy gravels over a clay-limestone base, facing south towards the Gironde. Founded in 1850, the château had fallen into near-abandonment when Baron Philippe de Rothschild acquired it in 1970, undertaking a thorough restoration led by the Mouton Rothschild teams. The blend, built around Cabernet Sauvignon, incorporates Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and a rare touch of Carmenère — a distinctive signature within the appellation. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the precision of its Pauillac terroir, the consistency of its style, and the remarkable trajectory it has followed under the Rothschild family.
