12 to 15 months in French oak barrels (approximately 50% new wood)
On the eye
Deep ruby robe with purple highlights. Brilliant clarity and perfect limpidity, evidence of careful cellar work.
On the nose
Complex and refined. Red and dark fruits—raspberry, black cherry, blackberry—lead, with Cabernet Franc's signature violet, liquorice and fresh mint. Mineral graphite notes and delicate oak (vanilla, light toast) complete the bouquet.
In the mouth
Elegant and balanced. Tannins are remarkably fine, powdery and fully integrated. Refreshing acidity from the clay soils extends the finish. The wine is long and silken, with lingering notes of spice and fresh fruit.
