In the mouth
The palate presents melted, delicate tannins with a silken texture. The wine develops beautifully across the mid-palate, finishing with a lingering, agreeable persistence.
On the nose
An intense bouquet unfolds with aromas of small red fruits, graphite minerality and subtle olive notes. The nose is expressive and layered.
On the eye
Deep ruby robe with brilliant lustre and excellent clarity.
Breeding
Aged 12 months in oak barrels, of which 20% new oak.
M. Francois
This wine pairs admirably with game birds such as roasted quail, and performs equally well alongside darker meats and venison. The structure and refinement also suit charcuterie of character. A versatile accompaniment to the table.
