  • An approachable introduction to Viognier, this wine captures the varietal's characteristic elegance without pretension. The 2021 vintage offers an ideal entry point for those seeking to explore this distinctive northern Rhône white.
  • The vineyard name references its geographical position adjacent to the formal appellation boundary, allowing Yves Cuilleron to craft wine under IGP classification whilst maintaining the quality standards his family has upheld since 1975.

Product features : Cave Yves Cuilleron – IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Blanc Viognier les Vignes d'A Cote 2021

In the mouth
Fresh and graceful on the palate, with good length. The fruit-driven finish remains clean and mineral, reflecting the terroir's influence. A wine of balance rather than intensity.
On the nose
A refined and aromatic profile. Stone fruits—peach and apricot—mingle with white flowers and citrus zest, creating an inviting bouquet that speaks to the wine's freshness and varietal character.
On the eye
Brilliant pale gold with subtle green highlights
Breeding
Ageing one-third in 30-hectolitre wooden foudres, one-third in Burgundian barrels without racking and one-third in vats, seven months on lees. Blending of different parcels before bottling.
M. Francois
Pair this Viognier with moules marinières or other shellfish preparations where its acidity and stone fruit notes complement the brininess of the sea. Also excellent with lighter fish courses, asparagus-based dishes, or simply as an aperitif wine.
