Breeding
12 to 18 months
On the eye
Garnet with good depth of colour
On the nose
Red and black fruit aromas dominate, with subtle secondary notes emerging as the wine opens. A classic Saint-Émilion bouquet of ripe plum and cassis.
In the mouth
The palate shows fine fruit expression balanced by elegant structure. Finesse and poise characterise the mid-palate, with a finish that suggests years of graceful development ahead.
M. Francois
This wine possesses the structure and refinement to accompany game dishes of substance—a traditional pairing such as civet de lièvre would showcase its depth and complexity. The wine's balance between fruit and tannin makes it equally rewarding as a contemplative glass in its own right.
