CHATEAU DU GLANA
Situated in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle at the heart of the Médoc, Château du Glana extends across 59 hectares of classic Garonne gravels — a terroir ideally suited to the structured reds of the Saint-Julien appellation. Built in 1870 on parcels originally belonging to Château Saint-Pierre, the château was acquired in 1961 by Gabriel Meffre, who expanded it significantly with land from Château Lagrange. Today, Julien and Ludovic Meffre continue that rigorous approach, blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to produce reds of genuine Médoc character. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its vintages and the textbook typicity it delivers across one of the Médoc's most reliable appellations. A Saint-Julien of real substance, true to its terroir.
