Breeding
12 to 15 months in oak barrels (approximately 25-30% new oak)
On the eye
Deep garnet robe with violet reflections, showing the wine's maturity and depth.
On the nose
Subtle reduction gives way to a wild, almost feral character. Leather and ripe fruit notes emerge over discreet oak, with a mineral and smoky undertone that speaks to the vineyard's limestone-rich soil.
In the mouth
Rich and balanced, marrying power with finesse. Intense concentration of small red and dark fruits, with a texture that reveals both structure and elegance across the palate.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with poultry and red meat dishes. Consider it alongside roasted chicken, beef daube, or game birds. The wine's mineral backbone and fruit intensity make it equally suited to charcuterie and aged cheeses. Drink now through 2030.
