In the mouth
The palate presents fine material with elegant structure. Tannins are ripe and well-integrated, supporting the fruit without dominating. The wine finishes with good length and a subtle mineral edge.
On the nose
The bouquet is expressive and spiced, with prominent blackcurrant fruit layered beneath notes of dried herbs and graphite. There is good aromatic definition without excessive extraction.
On the eye
Deep garnet robe with good intensity and clarity.
Breeding
Aged 15 months in oak barrels.
This wine is well-suited to roasted and braised red meats, meat-based sauces, and game preparations. It will also complement mature cheeses of character. Drink from now through 2028 with proper cellaring.
