Product features : Chateau de Lascaux Garrigue 2021 — Languedoc — Organic

In the mouth
Fresh spice and garrigue herbs—white pepper, bay leaf, thyme—with a whisper of menthol. Aromatic and layered, with supple, velvety tannins that frame the wine's mineral core.
On the nose
Dried figs and quince lead into distinctive garrigue notes—thyme, rosemary, and liquorice. The bouquet is refined and subtle, with an appealing savoury character.
On the eye
Garnet with bright, luminous reflections
Breeding
Concrete vat, 6 to 8 months
M. Francois
A wine of elegance and restraint. The garrigue aromatics and fresh spice make it an ideal companion to beef carpaccio or lamb preparations—particularly those with Mediterranean herbs. The balanced structure and fine tannins suggest drinking now, or cellaring for three to five years.
