Breeding
Aged 18 months in 60% new oak barrels.
On the eye
Deep, intense ruby red with excellent colour saturation
On the nose
Layered bouquet of dark fruits and warm spice, evolving towards dried herbs and mineral undertones as the wine opens in the glass
In the mouth
Perfectly balanced palate with fresh acidity and fine tannin structure. The mid-palate shows good weight without heaviness, finishing with mineral precision
M. Francois
This cru will reward cellaring over the next decade. Serve with roasted beef, game, or aged cheeses. The wine's structure and freshness make it equally suited to duck confit or well-hung game birds. Decant thirty minutes before service.
