CHATEAU PEDESCLAUX
Situated on the plateau above Pauillac (Gironde), Château Pedesclaux is a 5th Grand Cru Classé 1855 of 52 hectares, farmed organically across a mosaic of 19 distinct soil types. Founded in 1810 by Bordeaux broker Urbain-Pierre Pédesclaux, the château was transformed from 2009 onwards by the Lorenzetti family, who rebuilt the vineyard parcel by parcel and opened a fully gravity-flow winery in 2014 — a statement of intent as much as a technical choice. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its organic conversion, the precision of its parcel-by-parcel work on deep Garonne gravels, and the clear alignment between a classified growth's ambition and genuinely conscientious viticulture. A Pauillac of real character and honest terroir.
