In the mouth
Intense and aromatic, the palate explodes with fresh apricot and grapefruit before concluding with a delicate iodine-tinged minerality that lingers pleasantly on the finish.
On the nose
Initial aromas of fresh pineapple, anise and fennel from the Grenache Blanc and Macabeu. The second nose develops honeysuckle, brioche and subtle toasted notes that add complexity and depth.
On the eye
Brilliant pale straw yellow with silvery highlights
Breeding
In ovoidal vat, barrel and demi-muid for twelve months on lees with regular stirring – blending of the finest cuvées from each varietal and parcel, then one month in vat before bottling
A versatile wine equally at home as an aperitif or alongside charcuterie and Mediterranean dishes. The freshness and aromatic intensity make it particularly suited to paella and other saffron-based preparations. Serve well-chilled to appreciate its full character.
