In the mouth
Round and textured on the palate, with a refined yet assertive structure. The fruit is evident, whilst the tannins gradually soften and round, providing a satisfying grip without austerity.
On the nose
Aromas of blackberry and bilberry mingle with cherry stone and ripe plum. With time, the bouquet develops a feline, wild character—a hallmark of fine Pommard's evolution in bottle.
On the eye
Delicate ruby robe with bright garnet reflections, suggesting elegance and freshness.
This wine proves particularly well-suited to vegetarian dishes—its fruit-forward character and elegant structure complement herb-based preparations, roasted vegetables, and cheese courses admirably. It is equally at home with lighter poultry preparations. Drink from 2023 onwards; the wine will develop gracefully over the next decade.
