Breeding
16 months in French oak barrels, ample and suited to the powerful expression of Cornas Syrah
On the eye
Deep garnet-red robe with violet reflections.
On the nose
Intense aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, with violet and white pepper notes. The bouquet is layered and develops with aeration.
In the mouth
Well-structured with powerful yet silky tannins. Dark fruit flavours dominate, with black pepper and a subtle leather note adding complexity and length to the finish.
A wine of considerable substance. The palate offers concentrated dark fruit, black pepper and a whisper of leather, creating a rich and complex experience. Excellent with grilled red meats, braised dishes and mature cheeses. This Cornas will reward patience, developing further complexity over the next decade or more.

Les Vins de Vienne is a wine merchant founded in 1996 by Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard in Chavanay (Loire). Specialising in terroir wines from the Northern Rhône Valley. Appellations: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas. Grapes: Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne. Pioneering the revival of the Seyssuel vineyards.
