Breeding
Burgundy barrels (228-litre casks)
On the eye
Bright ruby-red robe with good clarity and depth
On the nose
Delicate red fruit aromas—cherry and raspberry—with floral notes and a restrained woody character that complements rather than dominates.
In the mouth
Fine, silky tannins frame flavours of cherry and raspberry, with a whisper of spice and good acidity that sustains the wine through to a clean, composed finish.
M. Francois
This Pinot Noir demonstrates the classical virtues of Alsatian viticulture: purity, balance and food compatibility. The fine tannin structure and aromatic restraint make it an ideal companion to poultry, white meats and vegetarian preparations. A genuine invitation to explore the nuanced expression of Fronholz terroir.
