- Le Rognet ranks amongst Corton's most distinguished vineyard sites. This altitude terroir, with its calcareous marl soils, endows the Pinot Noir with robust tannin structure and considerable refinement—the hallmark of a true Grand Cru.
- A wine of considerable complexity, marrying power with finesse. Ripe dark fruits, liquorice and forest floor notes combine with mineral freshness. The firm tannin structure and depth mark this as a serious wine built for the cellar.
- This Grand Cru will develop beautifully over many years. Its robust framework allows extended cellaring, gradually revealing complex secondary aromas of truffle, leather and undergrowth whilst the tannins soften to silk.

In the mouth
Powerful and well-structured, with firm yet silken tannins. Ripe dark fruit flavours—cassis and black cherry—are balanced by mineral freshness and liquorice spice. The finish is long and persistent, marked by undergrowth and truffle.
On the nose
Complex and expressive bouquet: ripe dark fruits—blackberry and blackcurrant—with liquorice, leather and violet. Forest floor and truffle notes emerge with age.

Maceration of around twenty days followed by ageing in oak barrels for 12 months - 3 to 4 months in stainless steel vats then bottling
