M. Francois
A wine of considerable poise. The palate reveals silky texture and layered aromatics of dark berries, violet and liquorice with spiced oak notes. Excellent with roasted red meats, braised dishes and aged cheeses. This Pomerol will develop beautifully over the coming years, rewarding those with patience and proper cellaring conditions.

CHATEAU PETIT VILLAGE

Perched at the highest point of the Pomerol appellation, the Catusseau plateau, Château Petit Village covers 10 hectares of deep gravel over an iron-rich alios subsoil in the Gironde. Founded in 1785 and long held by AXA Millésimes, the château passed in 2020 to the Moulin family — already established in the appellation through neighbouring Château Beauregard — who secured organic certification from that very first vintage. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the precision of its plateau terroir, the rigour of its organic viticulture, and the coherence of a family project with clear ambitions for Pomerol. A red of real depth and tension, well worth the attention of any serious Bordeaux collector.
