In the mouth
A wine of structure and elegance. Merlot-dominant, with a straight, refined palate. Tannins are present but well-integrated, supporting a core of ripe fruit and spice. The finish is clean and persistent, suggesting five to eight years of cellaring potential.
On the nose
Ripe dark fruit aromas—blackcurrant and plum—interwoven with warm spice notes and subtle earthy undertones that develop with aeration.
On the eye
Deep, dark garnet robe with good intensity and clarity.
M. Francois
Versatile at table: pairs admirably with game, venison, ham, and both white and red meat preparations. Equally suited to vegetable-forward dishes—particularly green vegetables and mushrooms. Complements soft and hard cheeses with equal aplomb. Best served at 16–17°C after decanting for thirty minutes.
