Breeding
Extended ageing of approximately 18 months in high-quality French oak barrels, with a substantial proportion of new wood. This élevage allows the wine to gain complexity and refine its tannic structure.
On the eye
Brilliant, deep ruby appearance with excellent clarity.
On the nose
The bouquet reveals the generous fruit character typical of Merlot from this vintage. Ripe stone fruit and subtle spice emerge as the wine opens, with good aromatic intensity.
In the mouth
The palate demonstrates excellent balance between the fruit and a fine-grained tannin structure. The wine has good length, with the supple tannins providing support without dominating the fruit expression.
