Product features : Domaine la Traversée - Gavin Crisfield les Terrasses du Larzac 2018

In the mouth
The palate is fruit-forward yet balanced, with silky tannins and refreshing acidity. There is genuine gourmandise here—a wine that is both serious and pleasurable, with a finish that lingers with elegance.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with red fruit character—cherry and plum predominate—layered with subtle mineral notes and a whisper of garrigue. The aromatics develop with aeration, revealing further complexity and refinement.
On the eye
Deep, dark garnet robe with excellent clarity and depth of colour
Breeding
Eighteen months' élevage. Syrah in truncated wooden vat, Grenache in oval foudre and Carignan and Cinsault in ovoid concrete vat.
M. Francois
This is a wine of considerable merit. Its aromatic depth, impeccable balance, and genuine ageing potential mark it as a serious expression of Terrasses du Larzac. It will accompany fine cuisine with distinction, yet remains approachable enough for appreciative drinking now. A genuine achievement from the Languedoc.
