In the mouth

CHATEAU CHASSE-SPLEEN
Sitting on the celebrated Grand-Poujeaux plateau in Moulis-en-Médoc, Château Chasse-Spleen covers 107 hectares of some of the most consistent Médoc gravel soils in the appellation. Born from the partition of the Grand-Poujeaux estate in 1822, the château was acquired in 1976 by the Merlaut family, today represented by Céline and Jean-Pierre Villars-Foubet, who have steered it towards Terra Vitis and HVE certification and expanded its footprint significantly with the purchase of neighbouring Château Brillette in 2022. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the reliability of its reds, the precision of their élevage, and the clarity of a long-term viticultural vision.
