In the mouth
The palate reveals a wine of admirable structure. Supple yet powerful tannins provide the backbone, whilst red and black fruit flavours evolve into a persistent finish of black pepper and spice that lingers with considerable grace.
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with seductive red and dark fruit aromas—cherry, plum, and blackberry—layered with hints of garrigue and Mediterranean herbs that are characteristic of the terroir.
On the eye
A brilliant, deep ruby colour that speaks of ripe, healthy fruit.
Breeding
Aged 12 months in large oak vats and oak barrels.
Serve this wine with braised beef infused with rosemary, where its peppery notes will echo the herb's warmth. It is equally at home with lamb à la provençale, where the wine's spiced character complements the garlic and herbs. A versatile companion to the table that justifies its place in any serious cellar.
