A harmonious expression of the finest terroirs of the domaine

  • This fruity Moulin-à-Vent displays a delicate acidity that lends freshness and balance. The wine shows considerable elegance, with ripe red fruit character and a refined structure typical of well-made Beaujolais cru.
  • Produced from vines averaging fifty years of age, these mature plantings yield concentrated fruit with considerable depth. The age of the vineyard contributes to the wine's complexity and mineral character.
  • Purchased directly from the domaine, this wine is offered at a fair price that reflects our merchant's relationship with the producer. You benefit from our direct sourcing without unnecessary intermediaries.

In the mouth
On the palate, liquorice and spice notes emerge alongside fresh, well-integrated tannins. The wine possesses good structure and a lingering finish that rewards contemplation.
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with floral notes—violet and peony—complemented by subtle menthol and liquorice hints. A refined and inviting nose that speaks to the wine's terroir.
On the eye
Deep ruby robe with an intense, dark garnet hue.
Breeding
Aged in oak barrels and demi-muids for 12 months, then in concrete vats for 6 months.
M. Francois
Cœur de Terroirs pairs admirably with charcuterie and cured meats, where its acidity cuts through richness. It is equally at home with red meat dishes and poultry preparations, particularly those featuring mushrooms or earthy accompaniments. A versatile wine for the table.
