Product features : La Mordoree La Reine Des Bois 2018 Lirac Bio

Breeding
Approximately 10 to 12 months. Part of the wine, notably the Syrah and Mourvèdre, is aged in oak barrels (including some new wood), whilst the Grenache remains in tank to preserve the fruit.
On the eye
Deep ruby red with purple reflections. A wine of good colour intensity and clarity.
On the nose
Complex bouquet revealing blackcurrant, blackberry and wild herbs, with white pepper and subtle garrigue notes. The aromatics develop with air.
In the mouth
Powerful yet refined. Fine-grained tannins support notes of dark fruit, liquorice and spice. Good balance between structure and elegance, with a clean, persistent finish.
M. Francois
La Reine Des Bois demonstrates the Domaine's mastery of Lirac's terroir. The biodynamic approach yields a wine of genuine character—neither over-extracted nor timid. A considered choice for those seeking authentic southern Rhône expression. Worth cellaring for five to eight years.
