In the mouth
Rich and opulent on the palate, with concentrated flavours of candied citrus, ripe apricot and quince. The natural sweetness is balanced by good acidity, creating a wine of considerable elegance and length.
On the nose
Intensely aromatic, with pronounced notes of dried apricot, quince paste and honeycomb. Secondary aromas of candied orange peel and a subtle floral character emerge with aeration.
On the eye
Deep golden yellow with amber highlights, indicating the wine's concentration and maturity.
This wine pairs beautifully with lightly sweetened desserts, particularly those featuring stone fruits or citrus. It also complements asparagus-based dishes and certain aged cheeses.
