In the mouth
The palate is structured and elegant, with Merlot providing richness and body. Tannins are refined rather than aggressive, leading to a clean, well-balanced finish that suggests rewarding cellaring.
On the nose
Ripe dark fruit aromas interwoven with warm spice notes. The bouquet develops with aeration, revealing layers of black cherry and subtle oak influence from careful élevage.
On the eye
Deep, dark garnet robe with good intensity
M. Francois
This Côtes de Bordeaux demonstrates versatility at table. Pair with venison, duck, or rabbit; red and white meats; sautéed mushrooms and green vegetables; or mature cheeses. The wine's balance makes it equally at home with a simple country terrine or more elaborate game preparations. Cellaring for 3–5 years will allow the structure to integrate fully.
