In the mouth
The palate is clean and linear, with a Merlot-dominant blend providing richness without heaviness. Spice notes persist through the mid-palate, leading to a composed, well-balanced finish with fine-grained tannins.
On the nose
Aromas of ripe dark fruits with a distinctive spice character. The bouquet develops with air, revealing subtle earth notes and a hint of liquorice beneath the primary fruit.
On the eye
Deep, dark garnet robe with good intensity
M. Francois
A versatile food wine. Pair with game, charcuterie, or roasted poultry. Red and white meats alike benefit from its structure. Mushrooms and green vegetables complement it well. Soft and hard cheeses are equally suitable partners. Decant 30 minutes before service to allow the bouquet to develop fully.
