Breeding
Aged in French oak barrels for 18 to 24 months, with 60 to 70% new wood, imparting vanilla and toasted aromas whilst preserving the purity of the fruit.

Deep purple robe with garnet reflections

Intense and complex bouquet of dark fruits—plum and blackcurrant—with violet, forest floor, and subtle notes of liquorice and cedarwood.
In the mouth
Ample and silky palate with concentrated dark ripe fruits, powerful yet refined tannins. Complex flavours of truffle, liquorice, leather and tobacco, with remarkable freshness and length on the finish.

CHATEAU TROTTEVIEILLE
Situated on the east-facing slopes of Saint-Émilion in the Gironde, Château Trottevieille covers 12 hectares of clay soils over a limestone base, at the heart of Bordeaux's most prestigious right-bank appellation. Classified Premier Grand Cru Classé B since 1955 and under the stewardship of Borie-Manoux and the Castéja family since 1947, the château holds a remarkable viticultural treasure: Cabernet Franc vines planted in 1868, predating the phylloxera crisis. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for the singular character of its old-vine encépagement, the depth it lends to its reds, and the consistency of a classical, thoroughbred style true to the identity of Saint-Émilion. A benchmark for lovers of great right-bank Bordeaux.
