Product features : Chateau Domeyne 2016 — Saint-Estèphe

In the mouth
Full-bodied and rich with admirable density. A refined acidity provides tension and length, whilst the precise, powerful structure concludes with fruited notes and sapid tannins of excellent definition.
On the nose
Expressive bouquet of red and dark fruits—cherry, blackberry, blueberry—complemented by subtle grilled notes that add complexity and depth to the aromatic profile.
On the eye
Deep ruby with excellent colour intensity and clarity
Breeding
In barrel with 30% new oak
M. Francois
A wine of considerable merit that pairs beautifully with substantial meat dishes. Particularly recommended alongside navarin d'agneau, where its structure and fruit character enhance the richness of the preparation. Also excellent with roasted game and mature cheeses.

CHATEAU DOMEYNE

Covering 9 hectares in Saint-Estèphe, Gironde, Château Domeyne is a Cru Bourgeois classified as early as 1932, planted on deep graves and tertiary clays at the heart of one of the Médoc's most structured appellations. In 2018, Natacha and Vincent Ginestet — great-grandchildren of Fernand Ginestet — reclaimed the château, restoring a clear family direction focused on controlled yields of 25 to 52 hl/ha and genuine terroir expression from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the coherence of its project, the depth of its roots in Saint-Estèphe, and the consistent quality of its reds. A Cru Bourgeois to follow with confidence.
