CHATEAU COUTELOR LA ROMARINE
Set on the hillsides above the Dordogne valley at Eynesse in the Gironde, Château Coutelor la Romarine covers 17 hectares within the Bordeaux appellation, on clay-limestone soils interlaced with ancient alluvial gravels. A property with roots stretching back to the reign of Henri IV, it was taken over in 1998 by oenologist Corinne Sicard-Legendre, who made the decisive choice to leave the local cooperative and vinify the entire estate's production herself — red, white, and rosé. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its winemaking approach, the genuine character of its Gironde terroir, and the clarity of purpose that runs through every bottle. A Bordeaux address well worth knowing.
