A reference domaine of the northern Rhône Valley

  • This white Banyuls offers a compelling balance of minerality and aromatic complexity. The palate reveals white fruit, acacia blossom and citrus tart notes with a gentle sweetness that never overwhelms. A wine of genuine character and restraint.
  • A versatile addition to any serious wine cellar. The 2014 vintage demonstrates the consistency and quality that has established Pierre Gaillard's reputation across four decades of winemaking in the Rhône.
  • Particularly well-suited to strawberry tart and other fruit-based desserts. The wine's acidity and aromatic profile complement patisserie with elegance, though it also rewards contemplation on its own.

On the eye
Golden robe with luminous, bright reflections in the glass
Breeding

M. Francois
This wine rewards adventurous food pairing. Consider serving with spiced cuisine, where its aromatic complexity and gentle sweetness provide sophisticated counterpoint. The minerality cuts through richer dishes whilst the acidity maintains freshness throughout the meal.
