The Côte d'Or: Pinot Noir's Greatest Stage

The Côte d'Or is divided into two sub-zones: the Côte de Nuits to the north (home to the greatest red Burgundies) and the Côte de Beaune to the south (known for its outstanding whites, though also producing fine reds).

Gevrey-Chambertin is the most powerful expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir — rich, structured, and age-worthy. The village alone produces 26 Premier Crus and 9 Grand Crus, including the legendary Le Chambertin.

Chambolle-Musigny offers the most delicate and perfumed style — ethereal, floral, and silky, epitomised by Musigny, one of Burgundy's most celebrated Grand Crus.

Vosne-Romanée is home to the most mythologised wines in the world: Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, and Richebourg. The wines combine extraordinary complexity with a unique spice and power.

Nuits-Saint-Georges produces more robust, meaty wines with excellent ageing potential.
