Le Bourgueil rouge, une fierté de la Vallée de la Loire, est réputé pour son expression raffinée du cabernet franc. Ce vin se distingue par sa dualité terroir : les vins de graviers, légers et fruités, parfaits dans leur jeunesse, et les vins de tuffeau, plus corsés et aptes au vieillissement, révélant complexité et élégance après un élevage en barrique. Ces différences proviennent des sols sur lesquels les vignes prospèrent, des graviers près de la Loire aux coteaux argilo-calcaires de tuffeau.
