La prestigieuse appellation Côtes de Provence est célèbre pour ses vins rosés, mais ses vins rouges méritent une attention particulière pour leur caractère et leur qualité. Reconnue en 1977, elle s'étend sur plus de 20 000 hectares, embrassant les départements du Var, des Bouches-du-Rhône et un village des Alpes-Maritimes. Le terroir varié des Côtes de Provence, alternant entre zones calcaires au nord et ouest et cristallines au sud et est, façonne des vins rouges distinctifs.
