Situé au pied des imposantes falaises du Pic Saint-Loup et du Mont Hortus, le Domaine de l'Hortus est un joyau du Languedoc. Ces montagnes majestueuses ne sont pas seulement emblématiques du paysage, mais elles jouent un rôle crucial en créant un microclimat spécial pour le vignoble, offrant une fraîcheur unique dans la région.

Fondé par Jean Orliac dans les années 1970, le domaine a commencé comme une aventure audacieuse dans une région alors sous-estimée. Grâce à la vision de Jean, et maintenant avec l'implication de ses enfants, l'Hortus a contribué à élever le statut de l'appellation Pic Saint-Loup, produisant des vins reconnus pour leur élégance, leur finesse et leur capacité de garde.
