Les vignes de Borie de Maurel sont agrippées, dans la caillasse, aux pentes de la Montagne noire. Ce terroir a, depuis des lustres, un nom : le petit Causse. Il est si particulier qu’il a donné naissance en 1999 à l’AOC La Livinière, première appellation village du Languedoc. 35 hectares de diversité entre terres chaudes et hautes tenus par Michel Escande, vigneron à la vocation tardive.
