L'appellation Blaye - Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge désigne des vins rouges produits dans la région de Blaye, située sur la rive droite de l'estuaire de la Gironde. Faisant partie de l'ensemble des appellations "Côtes de Bordeaux", ces vins sont principalement élaborés à partir des cépages Merlot et Cabernet Sauvignon. Les rouges de Blaye se caractérisent par leur rondeur, leurs notes fruitées de prune et de cerise, ainsi que par des touches épicées et boisées. Ils offrent une belle structure et un bon potentiel de garde, tout en restant accessibles, représentant un excellent rapport qualité-prix du Bordelais.
