Niché sur les rives gauche de la Loire, dans le département du Cher, le vignoble de Sancerre se distingue par son histoire millénaire, déjà loué au VIème siècle par l'évêque Grégoire de Tours. Son principal cépage, le Pinot Noir, s'épanouit sur des collines et coteaux privilégiés, bénéficiant d'une exposition et protection optimales. La diversité de ses sols, des argilo-calcaires des terres blanches aux calcaires des caillottes et griottes, en passant par les terres siliceuses ornées de silex, confère au Sancerre Rouge une complexité et une richesse uniques.
