Située sur la rive droite de la Dordogne, près de la ville de Bordeaux, l'appellation Canon-Fronsac est un petit joyau du vignoble de Bordeaux. Les vins rouges produits ici sont principalement élaborés à partir de Merlot, complété par des proportions de Cabernet Franc et de Cabernet Sauvignon.
