L'appellation Chinon Rouge désigne des vins rouges produits autour de la commune de Chinon, située dans la vallée de la Loire, en France. Élaborés principalement à partir du cépage Cabernet Franc, les Chinon rouges se caractérisent par leur bouquet de fruits rouges, comme la framboise et le cassis, agrémenté de notes de poivron vert et parfois de nuances florales. Avec une structure tannique modérée et une vive acidité, ces vins sont à la fois fruités et équilibrés, pouvant être consommés jeunes ou après quelques années de garde.
