Cette appellation désigne des vins rouges produits dans la région du Beaujolais, au sud de la Bourgogne, en France. Élaborés principalement à partir du cépage Gamay, ces vins sont reconnus pour leur caractère fruité, avec des notes dominantes de fruits rouges comme la framboise, la cerise et parfois la banane. Légers à moyennement corsés, avec des tannins souples, les Beaujolais rouges sont souvent consommés jeunes et sont appréciés pour leur fraîcheur et leur buvabilité.
