L'appellation Fronsac concerne des vins rouges produits dans la région de Fronsac, située près de la rive droite de la Dordogne, à l'ouest de Saint-Émilion, en Bordelais. Élaborés principalement à partir des cépages Merlot et Cabernet Franc, les vins de Fronsac sont connus pour leur robustesse, leur structure tannique et leurs arômes de fruits noirs, d'épices et parfois de notes boisées.
